Public Appointments & other Decision Making Roles
Women Making a Difference directly addresses the need for more women to apply for and take up public roles and appointments. By providing the skills and removing or lessening barriers we aim to enable individuals to 'look outside' their comfort zones and help them to meet the challenge of taking up a public appointment or other decision making role.
Becoming a public appointee or charity trustee is an exciting step towards making a difference to the lives of others. Public bodies and other not for profit organisations make important decisions that shape the quality of our lives and public services.
